Researcher interests: Molecular spectroscopy by Fourier transform infrared and far-infrared, Raman, resonance Raman and Fourier transform Raman with emphasis on matrix isolation at cryogenic temperature techniques. Vibrational spectroscopy of matrix isolated molecules and of condensed phases: reactive, unstable and high temperature species; interactions between trapped molecules and host solid; hydrogen bonded complexes in matrices and in condensed phases, collective motions in pure and mixed solids; phase transitions. Relations of molecular structure and of spectroscopic parameters to thermodynamic properties.
