Researcher interests: Cloud physics, in particular (1) microphysical processes in clouds, motion and interaction of cloud hydrometeors in a turbulent clouds; (2) numerical simulation of cloud development and precipitation formation; and (3) breeze circulation, coastal effects. Tropical meteorology, particularly interaction of tropical cyclones with the ocean; motion and interaction of binary tropical cyclones; atmospheric boundary layer over tropical oceans; and development of corresponding numerical models.
